The Chip Board Archive 19

I saw this design at the open house at Paulsons...

on Industrial, at their retail shop. I remember they had 20-25 chips you could buy with the origional chip on one side and the white paulson ad on the other side. At that time they were pricey $3-$4 a piece and you wanted not just one. So, when you started adding the quantity you wanted the price started to climb. That is why we all declined the chips.
After that we went to Binions for lunch and in passing the Crap Tables I saw Two stacks of the same chip. I even got close to the stickman and said to John, look at the chips on the table, he blinked. I went to the side if the table and flagged a 72+ suit and ask if I could see one if the $25,000 chips. In so many words, the answer in a surprised and grog/smokers voice, the words were clear...N O !
Ok..............Something to note when the London Club opened the Manager showed me the $100,000 Plaque and allowed me to hold it and hold it up to the lite. A real Treat.
I can't, right now remember the year, but the food was great, and we were at one of the early Alladdin Convention Shows. I think Jack was still in charge. Great times in those days, great times.
