Thanks for the good information. Frankly, as a Blackjack player, I will never again play in a California game if they are not house banked (not a major penalty since I live in WA). When I was there, the proceedure was to put a casino employee in a seat at the table, with the bank (no one else could participate), AND also charge a 10% rake for some "fund". I don't know anyone who can consistantly beat those odds -- certainly not me.
We have seen the proliferation of gambling all across the good ol' USA and notice that Las Vegas is continuing building thousands of new hotel rooms. The local casinos are OK when I just want to fool around for a couple of hours but there is nothing like the real thing.
