Rene,
You did answer a couple of my questions in your replay to Jim Perlowski. You did not answer ALL of them plus I now have a few more! How about if you answer them one by one. I don't feel that is too much to ask considering your asking $550 a chip.
1. Who is the original Golden Nugget owner?
2. You said that the owner took the table AND chips. Also "its still in their family but they will not sell it and it's a family piece" How can you be sure that they will NOT sell the chips they have? You also said "the 10 I offer would be the only ones in the world being offered so $550 is great". The KEY word here is BEING. The family could hear of you selling them at $550 each & think that is GREAT! We'll sell the ones we have.
3. Why do you think that a Poker Room or what now sounds like a Poker TABLE from a 1950's Casino would not have a chip with a denomination on it?
4. How can the "Original Golden Nugget Owner" say he saw them in the Poker Room & now it looks like they are Roulette chips? Which makes more sense if you look at & think about my 3rd question above.
5. How can you make this statement "owners Itale Gelfi or something like that"? If I'm going to sell a chip for the money your asking & I have an owners name I'm going to get it right!
6. Is postage included in the $550 price?
Keep in mind that I see nothing wrong with your finding chips, buying them & turning around & selling them. The word profit is NOT a dirty word, BUT this is a chip that has VERY little information behind it. It is also going for a hefty price & you should be able to answer the questions without leaving doubt in peoples minds & your not doing that............Andy - Las Vegas
