I went to Greg's Vigil and Rosary in Wellington this dreary, misty Kansas evening. It was a very nice service and somewhat reminiscent of a celebrity roast. We've all heard the funny Greg stories told here on The Chipboard and in person as they relate to chipping. Well, tonight we heard the other funny Greg stories that his friends, Sonic coworkers, etc. all have and it was fun hearing them!

I also had the distinct pleasure of meeting Ron Clewell, Ed Badger, Jay Kalman, Wilson Gee, Belinda Hixson, and Brian Watts this evening! It was fun getting together with other chippers and talking about chipping! hopefully one of these days I will find my way to KC for the club meeting there.

Finally, I learned tonight that behind every special guy there is a special woman! Carol Susong opened her home to us all after the service, fed us, and showed us Greg's "man cave" where the chipping magic took place! She also spent a considerable amount of time with us recounting additional stories about Greg and Sonic, Chipping, family, etc... Thank you Carol for the fine hospitality you showed us tonight! May God Bless you and keep you in this dark hour!
