Because we're chippers, we know how to smile REAL big since we knew Greg. Unbelievably, it was only a month ago I was recounting the last time I talked to Mike Heron. I'd delivered to him at a convention, a bottle of Blue Heron beer, a local brew. He told me he couldn't drink it, DR.'s orders which I already knew. I'd given it to him because the blue heron depicted on the label was a dead ringer for his personal chip mascot. The next year, a voice behind me murmured, "I drank that beer... and it was good!" It was Mike of course and he looked so proud and hopeful. We are misssing Janice and Jim Pierre too but we still have the club and our friends which puts us ahead of other folks.

I knew a fellow this last year that lost his beloved wife. Tom was jsut the nicest guy you could ever meet and almos everyone who worked in my industry knew the guy. The pity was that Tom had absolutly no way to cope with his loss and sadness. I'm thinking I was able to help him along because of everything I've learned from my friends at . We've got Greg's board to come to every day and share but Tom didn't.d Know that even the smallest thing can make a big difference in this world and the things we share here really go a long way.
