Actually, I don't play the game, Alan. However, a number of places do have $5 baccarat, including Caesars Palace, MGM Grand, and Paris. A number of the closed clubs did as well. Probably for house commission and maybe for tips.
Now that I think about, it $1 would pay commission on a $20 bet. They do have $20 chips, but I'm sure the miniumum bet is higher than that at London Club.
I still liked watching the game more when they had a dealer 'ironing' $20 bills in the baccarat pit to be used in the game <g>. Long rows of 20's would be lined up in front of the betters in place of chips. Been a while... probably the 60's as that's when I first started visiting Las Vegas.
