Port Isabel, TX, had an early opertion (dream) that was to sail for a 6-hour cruise off Hwy-100 just before the bridge to South Padre Island.

I copied this note back in 1992 when someone explained that the operation failed and a second venture with a similar name either started up or was about to start up (per note)... They could have been referring to the Star of Texas....
