Only $39, plus $3 postage-insurance. Return privileges. (PayPal OK, but $1 discount if paid via check or QuickPay.) Reverse auction on this antique dealer chip, which usually goes for $100 or more. A neat feature, and unusual for any chip, is how high up the cup stands in relief! A generous 1-5/8" diameter.
A very good deal here, even with the small, neat hole drilled in it. It is about 100 years old, and is usually found (when you can find one, which isn't so easy) with a lot of nicks on the edges and the cup. (Jackpot was an early form of poker, by the way). This one is in pretty good shape -- only minor nicks, and has some original sheen.
The chip has appeared as early as 1895; it is pictured in the 1895 Samuel Nafew catalog page in the "Antique Gambling Chips" book. Described as, "Made from composition. Center part stands out in relief and different color from the balance." Back then, over 100 years ago, you could buy a dozen for 40ยข!
