I hope you are only playing devils advocate.

"What would be the respective roles of the President, Secretary, Treasurer and Membership Officer of CCGTCC under your proposal to introduce a paid Executive Officer? "

Why they would do exactly what they do now: make decisions for the membership.
Determine the direction of the club. Meet once a year. Propose and vote on items of importance.

"what would the daily paid Executive Officer do every day that the current slate of officers could not/would not do? "

the executive officer (and remember this is sometime in the future) would answer the phone(s) oversee any ship records and do with them as directed.
Take a big burden off of the VOLUNTEER convention chair regarding thye day to day planning of the convention. Help man the club museum/headquarters. and what ever else the VOLUNTEER board determines that he/she should do.

Please understand that for me these are long term goals. Goals that I do not expect to come to fruition during my term of office if I'm elected.

If you will they are rather a start of a long term plan for the club.

All I have advocated for NOW is an increase in dues so that we have a little more financial leverage to implement future plans.
