The one piece of advice I always give new collectors is start a database right away. I am typing this while taking a break from scanning. I am now scanning my chips for the second time. I am now circle cropping and making them straight which I didn't do the first time.
I am only doing Las Vegas chips now. I am up to 687 chips and have a long way to go. I was going to count tonight how many I need to rescan before I can continue with chips I haven't scanned yet. I will never get to my AC or roulette chips in this lifetime.
