You can get the Adobe Photoshop Elements software, one level down, for $15-25 on eBay. Be sure to get a new unopened package. I've used Elements for years and it has all the features you need for scanning and enhancing chips. What you want is Version 5. The latest version 7 of Elements sells for around $60-70 reail.
