would have done better if they had sent Charlie Weis to go get some pizzas at the end of the game. That Notre Dame team has a TON of talent in almost every position. Calling those pass plays at the end of the game was really....hmmmm -- unintelligent. Who cares how many times some pass play worked? That close to the end of the game & you've got the lead, you keep the clock moving and/or make your opponent spend their time-outs. How?? By "possibly" making a couple of pass completions?? NO -- by running the ball. Notre Dame has the "horses" to both move the line & grind out yards. I spoke with two Chicago ND alumni yesterday...they've already been approached about donating money for the buy-out package.

Fred, for the first time in probably ten years, I actually bet ON Notre Dame (actually, it was a bet AGAINST Rich Rodriguez ) because I really do like their talent...perhaps they could lend some to their coach!
