One more time!!!!! I have never advocated the club buy records. So, please don't direct your better than thou thoughts to me.

I think you better check all the posts in these threads. Far more said they would support a dues raise for whatever reason, than said they would not.

Your reason for not wanting the club involved in buying them is TOTALY BOGUS. You want to protect collectors, against a dealer making money!!! TOTAL BALONEY.
A collector protects himself by not buying when the price is too high.

As far as this statement goes:
"if it isn't handled properly, it may be the "last straw" as far as my continuing membership is concerned."
It sounds like a kid taking his bat and ball to break up a game.
Anyone that feels this way will sooner or later find a reason to quit. So be it.

I will support the club even if I don't like something the officers deside to do. I have, in the past and will continue.
