I am not in total disagreement with you. I do not believe any records should be administered by volunteers. I do not necessarily advocate the purchase of any records until there is a mechanism in place to house/disburse them. I would much rather see an individual or individuals acquire them. All that I am advocating AT THIS TIME is that we consider raising the dues for AMONG OTHER THINGS the purpose of having money available if the club after due diligence does decide to acquire records or hire an administrator or buy or lease a building etc etc.
I also feel though you have the right not to vote for me or someone else with my views that you recognize that the club will grow either way and you would not resign if my views prevailed.
