Yeah, Jim Reilly is OK, even with a few broken bones...but let's not forget how he told us he got those broken bones....he's a fighter. It took some doing for him to say it...but he did say it and this is what this club needs: a man who will hold the colors high and blast the bugle with the sound of follow me!
Re: Records. In the past most of us have been trained that once we first find the chip is when we start our research (send in) for an ID. As many of us know, I've been trained differently: I've been handed certain facts with the power of suggestion to use these facts to research (as many other do) even if the chip is not found. In other words: I feel these records should not come from one resting place and be placed in another resting place. We need whatever records we obtain to be broadcast for their full potential to be utilized. We need to study these records way before we hope a chip will turn up. We need to take a selfless approach and not just say: "I only collect from Pongo-Poo-Poo and don't need any records."
