Some counters will count by counting two cards at a time. So often the two cards cancel each other out, so theory is why bother to adjust the running count twice to come back to the same count.

I used to count as well...but it became a pain in the butt. I didnt have fun any more. I dont play for the money, although winning is great. I have a real job, so I play for entertainment. Counting was just simply another job.
