SNCCC INVITATION for 09/08/09!

On behalf of the members and officers of the SOUTHERN NEVADA CASINO COLLECTABLES CLUB you are cordially invited to attend our monthly meetings!

The next meeting is Tuesday, September 8th at 7PM! The trading and/or selling of casino memorabilia can commence as early as 6PM and will resume following the meeting. You are invited for the meeting and./or the trading sessions. We meet at the Marine Corps League Museum / Leatherneck Club. The address is 4360 Spring Mountain Road. The Leatherneck Club is located in the INTERIOR of the shopping center in the NORTHEAST corner of Spring Mountain and Arville!

We are continuing to have an auction as well and you can see the list of items and the scans in this message! Our resident auctioneer, Mr. Jerry O’Neal will be there! Thank you, Jerry!

You are welcome to email me if you cannot make it in person with your highest bid and your CCGTCC or local membership number and which lot you want to bid on! Payment for winning bids are due at the end of the auction, if you are an absentee winner I will send you an invoice!

We are looking for items for our October auction, “REALLY, REALLY LOOKING,” you can email me and/or bring them with you to the September meeting and give them to me! If you are bringing a Nevada chip; it would be great to identify it with a TCR number and remember, you need to tell me what your minimum bid is on any item! Any form of casino memorabilia is welcome! The club takes a 10% seller’s fee!

SPEAKER! SPEAKER! SPEAKER!

I am pleased to announce that Mr. Ron Lurie of ARIZONA CHARLIES on DECATUR and former MAYOR of LAS VEGAS will be our SPEAKER for the September meeting! Ron promises to weave some very interesting stories from his days as MAYOR and/or GENERAL MANAGER of ARIZONA CHARLIES on DECATUR!

We are STILL LOOKING for SPEAKERS!

Also, there are a large number of EX members out there, just wishing for an invitation to rejoin! Well, here it is. YOU’RE INVITED! Come on down to the Leatherneck Club and have some fun and rejoin the club! The best bargain in town at only $12.00!

OCTOBER, NOVEMBER and DECEMBER meetings promise to be interesting!

In OCTOBER we will be reminding you of the need for nominees for officers of SNCCC!

In NOVEMBER we will accept nominations!

In DECEMBER we will elect new officers AND have our Holiday Party AND donate toys!!!!!!

We also run a 50/50 raffle for cash and/or prizes which is quite a lot of fun!

If you are not yet a member or your membership has lapsed we invite you to join the SNCCC! A year’s membership is only $12.00 payable at the door! You are, of course, welcome as a guest to see what we are all about!

The meetings are pretty short; lots of fun BEFORE, DURING and AFTER! Coffee and donuts are provided!
