Last year at the Orleans was my first convention and I did not stay there! This year, I stayed at the Tropicana and enjoyed the convenience of the show and meetings so close to the rooms. The safe in the room was a big PLUS and the ability to walk to nearby hotels was also an advantage. My vote would be for the Trop as long as there were assurances that the facilities would be available with no disruption from construction, etc.!!! Also, I was not charged for the use of the safe in my room!
