Possibly the charge for admission that's being discussed can be used to offset some of the costs that dealer-table-rent now has to pay. I understand the dealers' point, but there are more collectors than there are dealers in the club. Facilitating trading by members has to be a high priority.

Going to the hotel room to do a trade is certainly feasible at the Trop; I did it several times and only takes about 5 minutes. A nearby room with tables for the purpose would be even better. I don't know how you prevent the trade table from turning into a dealer table; maybe a time limit on occupancy of a table in the "trading room"? 15-20 minutes is normally enough. Would have to be on the honor system.
