Prodigy Classic BB posts can be backdated to review and read by subject title, or, to or from member notes for about three months. Some (not all) BB's are archived, and you can search by subject or ID of an individual posting to the board, going back in some cases that I've found up to two years and you don't have to read thru every message posted over two years, just the ones you are searching. Then there is the file library that Pete Porro stores chat files and other stuff that are there for as long as the system survives.

Prodigy Classic has many innovations that where abandoned as un-do-able by the likes of AOL. Reason? AOL didn't want to provide service, they just wanted customers.

That's the truth....and why I'm still with Prodigy, in my 6th year.
