Charles - I remember you posting this about that
seller who doesn't ship in December because too much
stuff gets lost around "Seasons Greetings" time.
The next day I wrote a long letter to the USPS
explaining this problem of all the cookies, fruit
cake, greeting cards and "Fruit of the Loom" (that
was for Mr. Goldfarb) that comes out of the woodwork
that time of year. I suggested that since there
are 52-weeks in the year, and 50-states, each state
should be appointed a "Season Greetings Mailing
Week" and this be done in order of Statehood. So,
what we now have is everybody in Wyoming gets to
ship their cookies, fruit cake, greeting cards and
"Fruit of the Loom" (thanks, again, Mr. Goldfarb)
during their designated week.....and the USPS could
close down for two whole weeks since there are only
50-states and 52-weeks.
