Re: No More Going "Postal" for Reduction of Worker

I was talking to one postmaster here in Las Vegas last Monday about the USPS - he told me that "we will be here" the higher ups will think of ways how to go on and compete with the other services.

I said, I hope so! I really hope so because there are many services that the USPS do that I like specially the price, i.e., I FedEX about 30 pages of documents to SC it cost me $12.00, the time delivery factor was the same. I USPS Priority the same pages to the same state for the same number of days - cost me less than $6.

I guess with the introduction of the "technology which affects the post office business is one of the killer - emails, the bank are encouraging paperless banking statements soon the bank will charge for monthly statements or extend the monthly to quarterly and then annually, even the W2 some companies allow their employees to log in for them during tax time or the preparer.

Just wait with the new introduction in education which I posted here earlier - K to 12 teachers will most likely be replaced (the below average performer), miles of cables, big screen, chalkboard and the like.

You can imagine the labor participation in the classroom all over the US, the advanced developed countries, eventually all around the world - of course they will enhance better equip students for further development in technology.
