I did more trading at The Last Dance that at any other time. The lack of tables was a slight handicap but there were plenty of chairs to spread out on informally.
The Wednesday night trading session was a waste of time for me. The crowds did not allow for getting around to see others' chips. There were quite a few who were there mainly to eat and not trade. I believe the food and trading should be separated next year, either in time or in separate rooms.
There is room for some creative thinking on how members can best handle the trading that should be a large part of the activity at a convention like this. We have the "sales" activity well under control in the bourse, but most collectors don't want to buy a table. Some hobby conventions (like matchcovers) do trading in members' hotel rooms with entire floors set up with open doors. Not sure this would work with our hobby due to the larger value of the items traded, but we need some brainstorming on alternatives.
