Lockheed Overseas Corporation: Poker Chip?

I found this chip last week. From a little research on the WWW, I learned that this company was formed at the beginning of WW-II to assemble crated US aircraft in the UK, and subsequently to repair and maintain US planes during the war. It appears the largest facility was in Northern Ireland, where they essentially built a town for their 2000 plus employees. There are a couple of mentions of other facilities in England.

My guess is these are poker chips used by the employees, as there is mention of bowling alleys and other recreation facilities built in Ireland. Chip is plain mold, square edge, with hotstamped name and company logo.

Does anyone have any other info on this Lockheed Aircraft subsidiary, including when it was disbanded? All my references appear to end about when the war did.

By the way, did you know that Lockheed is the phoenetic spelling of the founders name? He was a scot with the name of Loughead and apparently didn't like being called log-head by non-scots [g].
