First of all, I wish you could have been at the Convention this year. You would have seen how well put together it was and how much the members who did attend enjoyed themselves. Hopefully, you'll be there next year.

I do have to make some comments of my own.

According to Janice the show was a flop? I don't know exactly how she'd know since she was only at the Reception on Wednesday night, but everyone I've talked to indicated that it was the best show to date. The show itself was well attended as were the seminars, poker tourney and other events. I don't have the numbers as far as attendance went but we had SRO for the reception on Wednesday night and the showroom was packed most of the time.

The fellowship was great. We had very few problems and the Trop was very responsive to our needs. I like the Orleans too, but hate to think that the location is reason for a member not to support the convention or to speak badly of it after it's done. This is after all, at least in my mind, as much about the fellowship as it is the chips.

As one of the people who put in months of work making this show the best that it could be, I'm offended that someone would make a comment like that ESPECIALLY if they weren't there.
