I consider your message to be helpful even if somewhat pessimistic. Next year I've cleared my calendar so I can come in a day early and help set up; haven't been able to do that in the past because of my teaching schedule. The volunteers are tremendous and it is not right that so few do so much for so many [to cripple a phrase by WC].
