I would think large cities where the Jewish community has a stronger presence staying Kosher would be easier. Where I live specialty foods of any kind are not supported because of the small population. Places like Dallas it would be much easier with the diverse population. I remember stores catering to Indian, Spanish, Health foods, and etc.

In my little redneck town where ‘coon, possum, and armadillo are the main cuisine, vbg vbg vbg staying Kosher would be tough! Just Kidding…

But even if the community supports Kosher, it still appears to take a lot of effort to maintain due to the complexities. On the other hand if you were raised that way it may seem quite normal. That's the main reason for my original question.

I have learned a lot in the past day or two!!!
