Text to speech is a necessity. I just bought a Nuvi 750 that was refrubished for $175. You can find them at most of the shopping comparison sites and I don't think that there ever was anything wrong with them - just over runs in production when the new models came out - and Garmin has hundreds of models. List price of mine was something like $500.
