If you want chip trays that work well when less than full, avoid the cheap plastic trays advertised from time to time on eBay. They work well when you are stacking full racks atop one another but the row dividers are too low to work well with fewer chips. I bought a hundred several years ago and seldom use them for sorting chips and such.
