While I agree that these chips haven't been officially used "in play" in the Poker After Dark series, I have seen them used on NBC.

I believe that these "prop" chips were used in making some of the introduction scenes with the various players being filmed and talking.
This one in particular was Doyle Brunson talking about a hand with Chris Ferguson.

I have attached a screen shot below, though it is in black & white, it is the only close up of the faces of the chips.
The color shots of the chips are in stacks from the side only, but clearly show orange, yellow, purple chips, etc.
