Several years ago two helicopters carrying radio station traffic reporters (New York City) collided in mid air as each unit came out from behind a building. I somewhat remember the female reporters last words; "Oh my God... (or something very similar)."

In my opinion... I would think a better quality traffic control should be in place with a restricted number of units in flight at one time (no matter at what elevation).
