I would like to introduce a new-comer to our ranks. His name is Peter Smith and he lives in Minneapolis. Pete recently sent in his CC & GTCC membership application (sponsored by Mark Lighterman) and is hooked on personal chips to the extent that he now has a case of the personal chip fever.

If anyone wishes to send their personal chip to Pete ... or to sell their collection to Pete, he would be happy to hear from you.

Pete collects personal tokens from across all areas of numismatics and he has more than 6000 items. He has more than 1200 elongated coins (squished pennies); 1100 wood rounds, and 1100 wood flats related to two wooden money groups. He has more than 1500 tokens related to the American Vecturists Association (transportation items). He's recorded has collections in a book that may be published some day ... and now that he is a member of he's looking to include more of the popular personalized chips.
