One of my main reasons for my quitting smoking is to rat-hole the money I usually spend for all the cigarettes I would have smoked between now and the 2010 convention. Hopefully by the next convention I will have an extra $2000+ to piss away as I see fit!

I don't care if I had to eat Ramen noodles for the next 10 months, I'd gladly do it to get to the convention!
So good for you John, save anyway you can - I promise it will all be worth it when you see the lights of Vegas next June!
And yes, volunteering rocks! It is always a highlight of my convention trip to volunteer - so many old friends to see again and many more to meet for the first time!.... Plus it keeps me away from the video poker machines!..
