Once again it's time for us to plan our Autumn Outing held each September just prior to Octoberfest. This year Mark, myself and our newly appointed Functions Director, Michael Richter, would like to ask membership in which area of our strange-shaped state you would like to see this function held. Historically, we were meeting in Central Florida (FUN Convention; Orlando) in January, and in Clearwater Beach on the Gulf during July 4th Weekend (along with short, daily gaming cruises in the South Florida area throughout the remainder of the year.... which were not that heavily attended). So, we ask in consideration of those members (and guests) who live in Central, Northern, Gulf and South Florida areas where you would like to meet and what you would like to do. My suggestion was to hold the swap/meet on the new Sterling Casino in Port Canaveral (there is a free pick-up bus service from Internation Drive in Orlando) on Friday at about 4pm), or perhaps something on the Gulf. I'd also like to remind everyone that the "2001 FUN Osyssey" will be held January 4-7, 2001 at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando The CC>CC (National) will have a hospitality table on the bourse (over 500-tables). We will also be meeting at Blazing Pianos on Plaza International for that Friday night cruise on Sterling. Mailings regarding time and reservation will be later this year. Again, everything is free of charge; pick-up, cruise and food. Please e-mail either Mark, Michael or myseld with your suggestions for our Fall Outing.
