Baseball World Series Round-Robin Pool
Have Fun – no cost – just some chips.
You can join this pool and round robin by sending me some of your traders. Four obsolete Nevada would be great, but whatever you have to trade is fine – if you don’t have four chips, send a couple current $5 Nevada and I’ll make change.
The round-robin will start after I receive all the chips from you chippers out there. You need to post an interest in this post, and email me. I will send you my address. Remember, sign-up ends late Saturday the 8th of August, 2009.
One of your chips goes into the WS pool
One of your chips goes into the AL Pennant Pool
One of your chips goes into the NL Pennant Pool
One of your chips goes into the round robin.
You need to post here or in the email the following:
Choose the World Series winner (and how many games the series goes)
Choose the American League Pennant winner (and how many games the series goes)
Choose the National League Pennant winner (and how many games the series goes)
Choose the total runs scored in the final game of the World Series (tiebreaker)
If multiple chippers choose the same team for any series, we go to how many games that series goes, if there is still a tie, total runs scored in final game of the World Series decides it. If there is still a tie, chips are split between winners.
Round Robin starts as soon as all chips get to me. When the Round Robin is over, the chips will be added to any tie-splits so more chips are available to each chipper. If there are no ties, the Round Robin chips will go to whoever picks the correct score of the final game of the World Series or is closest – any tie here results in a split.
I'll post an update with everybody's picks in a few days. It is alright to choose the same teams others have.
Anybody who fails to send their chips will be dropped from the pool and round robin.
I will pay the cost of sending all the winners their chips.
Don't have any chips to get into this round robin? Go to www.TheRootsofReno and check out my books. If you buy one, I'll put four chips into this for you. Just email me afterward and we will get you set up.
