Another group had speculated years ago that the set was from Casino Elysee Palace in Vichy, because of the "CEP" lettering, but most of that casino's inventorey has been well documented thru the years. Though anything is possible. Some believe they're a private set... and some of the pieces I've seen have hand-engraved serial numbers.
