I'm not Terry, but the answers are easy.
1. For clarification -- The 25c and 50c chips marked "1999" and the 25c and 50c chips marked "2000" -- all 4 chips -- were approved by the Gaming Control Board on Feb 7, 2000, so it appears that Mahoney's doubled-up on the dated series of these chips for these 2 years.
Yes, they did.
2. Question -- I have all of the GCB approval sheets for 1998 (thru current), and I can't find anywhere that the "1998" 25c chip was approved for use by the GCB. (I don't have the approval sheets for 1997 and 1996, so I can't comment on those 2 years).
Do you know if Mahoney's got approval to issue the "1998" chip (and if so, why it doesn't appear on the list)?
I can guarentee that Paul-son would not have delivered a chip without a letter from gaming, approving it. If they did, they would be in Jeopardy of losing their license. Why it isn't on the list, I can not answer.
The 25¢ chips were made for 1 man. I ran into him trying to sell them at the convention. I got the 2000 50¢, some of them were released at the casino.
