Good post Steve. One of our clubs primary purposes is education. How great a way to provide this education than preserving some of the history involved in our hobby. While the costs for these records may seem high at first, what we end up paying for the records would be small in relation to not having them at all. I can see posts on the board five years from now - "Why didn't someone buy those records when they were available?" -.

Of course we can't do much on this until some of them do become available. In the mean time all the opinions and comments from our members should be considered when it's time to make a final decision. It may not only be chip records that will become available. What if token records, actual molds and dies, ashtray records, dice logo molds, etc become available. All of these will benefit some portion of our membership.
