Hi Bill,

How I categorise them is...If it came off a boat or ship (excluding riverboats) then it is a wet chip. I don't specifically categorise Riverboat chips other than coming from their US State of origin.

But like Charles said, your collection, your rules...that's just how I do it.

Funny, I also had no idea what a wet chip was when I started collectng. I remember seeing an ebay auction going dirt cheap for about 20 "wet chips" I didn't bid because I thought they'd been water-logged or something! rofl

If in doubt, check John Long's invaluable website http://shipsandchips.net/ If it aint there then it aint wet!
