What I meant regarding the portion of my post that confused you was that if and when manufacturer/distributor records do become available, the club should not jump blindly to purchase them. There may me some super deals available and there may be some not so super deals available....but the club should at least discuss the purchase when and if these become available. As far as what I said regarding the convention (which I doubt was offensive to anyone) open face turkey sandwich...I feel $7000 was a lot of money (on a whole) to feed the group where a pay-as-you-go plan would have been accepted. The cheese & wine deals we used to have were excellent, and I understand those dayd are history. As far as the who, where and who makes what on the sale of manufacturer records goes...I have no idea, and I can assure you I have no interest other than education. I've never discussed the purchase of any records with any owners, and the only interest I would have regarding such purchases is to be paet of a team who reviews their content before one dollar of club money is spent. If these few words do not clear up what confused you in my post...then I don't know what else to say.
