... is excessive. I bought 100 bubble pack mailers for $15 and a single chip can be mailed for 44 cents. So, sixty cents ought to do it.
I take particular offense at sellers who insist on sending everything priority mail. Or those who use a "service" which charges $3 or more (the issue I am currently dealing with). Or who refuse to combine shipping charges on multiple items (happened recently -- I asked if the seller would do so -- he said, sorry, can't do it -- then mailed both items in a single mailer for which the postage was less than the single item "shipping & handling" that he insisted I pay for each). Or who refuse to accept a self-adressed, postage paid bubble pack mailer in lieu of shipping and handling.
BTW, I have no problem with the buyer paying an extra charge for insurance (as long as it's the actual charge and it's USPS insurance). ----- jim o\-S
