Gene - You mention that you don't care who owns the records as long as you have access to them. Though I can understand this, there may be others who are not willing (or able) to pay $5 for each and every chip they want to ID...especially if they don't have two extra duplicates to barter. I feel that the club should get involved once such material is available for bid. I also feel that some manufacturer's records may be of little or no use to to the majority of collectors. Just because some records become available does not mean the club should own them.
