"I asked the dealer about the chips, and he told me they were testing out new chip sorting equipment and these were the chips that were brought in for the testing."

I have been told two stories about these chips by Gaming.

I spoke with an agent on the phone asking about approval of these chips. I was told she will get back to me in a few days which she did. She thanked me for the information and had said the chips were given to the HR to use without approval and they were being removed from the table. She thanked me for the information and asked if there was anything else she could do for me. I asked if she would confirm this in an email and she declined to do so.

The next day I sent a an email with the same information and received two follow up emails. Both confirmed the chips were approved and still on the tables. The email also said chips don't need to have a city state or casino name on them. I found that odd, but have been told special approval can be given for such testing of equipment.

Is there a mix up. I have no idea. Are they still on the table. I may have that answer later.

Maybe after they were pulled approval was given to test the new auto sort table.

No matter what they are still generic chips and what they are is what they are. What I was trying to do was document for gaming history that at one time the Hard Rock used them in play.
