Doug.. I noticed the CasinOmaha chips from Onawa, IA. Casino Omaha is located an hour north of the Omaha/Council Bluffs area. It was the closest casino to this area and did quite well until the Dog Track and the 2 Riverboats opened up gaming in Council Bluffs 1995 and 1996 respectively. The property has been struggling for years, because they are between two markets the Sioux City/Sloan, IA market and the Council Bluffs, IA market. The last time I went up there was in November and it was run down badly.

The casino closed this week, the tribe said that there would be an extensive remodeling and upgrading of machines. They did not have a date when it would re-open. Maybe some new chips will come out when it re-opens.
