When I was a floorman at the Golden Nugget and Mirage, we had to close out player ratings at midnight of anyone that had bought in for cash. The legal gaming day was midnight to midnight and all cash transactions couldn't span two days because of Reg 6 (now defaulted to Title 31).

Anyway, we closed the rating at 11:59 and opened a new rating at 12:01 to prevent any confusion. So, if you're a cash player, you lose 2 minutes of rated time if you play past midnight!
