Concerning the hiring of someone to help out on a full time basis, while I am all for it, I don't know if the club has the resources or income. As I recall our total cash balance is about steady every year at $30,000 or $40,000 after the convention bills are paid. A part time or full time person at $10,000 per year means that dues would have to go up $5 X 2000 Members = $10,000 per year to maintain that balance. Or the club would have to generate that money someway else. I am all for it if we can get the money. Think of all of the convention coordination, publicity, etc. that a full time person could generate.
