I steer my relatives and friends to the Best Western Executel. This is not close to downtown if thats where you want to stay, but its a good place and caters to cruisers. Has free shuttle to and from airport, and free shuttle to the ships. Has the free wifi, even color tv. A lot of groups stay there.

I don't live that far from the airport and hotel so will be glad to help out. Here's a tip - if you're going to tour downtown, don't rent a car, its easier, cheaper, and faster to take the bus. But if you do rent a car, you will save a TON of money by not renting at the airport. You're about a half hour's drive from the largest casino in WA, btw.
