if the casino has no competition, they'll work out find since the player has no other option. they can either play poker, or they can not play poker. at smaller card rooms, it probably does cost too much money to staff a room and have people standing around waiting to deal. but, in Vegas where there are probably too many rooms, a customer can just walk next door to play live with a dealer.
the electronic tables could spread lower games ($.5/$1) of which Bill's is the only place in town to spread such a low game and they could spread other games such as O8. but still, people go to vegas to play live.
If people wanted to play video games, why haven't the blackjack and roullette games been converted?
