Hiya David. I usually get registration done whenever I arrive on Wednesday. Never been a problem waiting on line as there are multiple stations A -E F- L etc. I would recomend that you try to get into your hotel room first so that you have a refuge to sort through your reg packet. Check to see if your name is on any tickets you'll need (banquet, poker, 21) and it's nice to have the peace of your room to peruse coupons and goodies that come with the packet. The Splash Bar is always fun but as chaotic as an NPR audience at a Wanda Sykes concert. Everything about the convention is pretty much no-brainer fun but don't be bashful about asking questions!
