You don't need 30 - 50 extra chips.

When the box gets to you take out 1, 2, 5....any number of chips...Simply replace the chips taken with chips of equal or greater value and condition. So you could get the box, see two chips you want out of the 30-50 that will be in the box, take those two and replace them with 2 other chips. Simply replce the number of chips you took, whatever the number and send the box to the next person on the list enclosed in the box.
